Hi there! I have an questin the questin is(Is circular motion tqking place at a constant speed or constant velocity

Speed is constant in circular motion but the velocity changes bcuz its a vector quantity i.e. it defines the magnitude as well as the direction and as the direction changes constantly in circular motion..velocity changes

Circular motion can occur with constant $\bold{speed}$ but $\bold{not}$ with constant velocity. Here is why :-

We know that velocity of a body changes with change is direction. In a circular path, the Direction of the body continuously changes. So the velocity of the body also changes. Hence we can not say that constant velocity can occur during a circular motion.

Speed may become uniform during the motion because speed doesn't depends on direction of the object.

In case of circular motion, speed is given as :-
