Speed is constant in circular motion but the velocity changes bcuz its a vector quantity i.e. it defines the magnitude as well as the direction and as the direction changes constantly in circular motion..velocity changes

MrBGhule: Yes the uniform circular motion moves with a constant speed and velocity .

Circular motion can occur with constant \bold{speed} but \bold{not} with constant velocity. Here is why :-

We know that velocity of a body changes with change is direction. In a circular path, the Direction of the body continuously changes. So the velocity of the body also changes. Hence we can not say that constant velocity can occur during a circular motion.

Speed may become uniform during the motion because speed doesn't depends on direction of the object.

In case of circular motion, speed is given as :-
2πr/t

where t is the total time taken

hope it helps dear friend ☺️✌️
