so the reversed number is 10y+x
10y+x=10x+y+27
-10x+x+10y-y=27
-9x+9y=27-----divide by 9

x+y=11
-x+y=3

2y=14
y=14/2
y=7
substituting y=7 in (1)
x+y=11
x+7=11
x=11-7
x=4
so the original number is 47
and the reversed number is 74
