ThalIus is a plant body that is not differentiated into stem and leaves and lack true roots and a vascular system.A thallus usually names the entire body of multicellular non moving in which there is no organisation of tissues into organs.Even though thallus not have organised and distinct part.ex:-leaves, roots and stem.They may have analogous structures that may resemble there vascular equivalents.It have similar function or microscopic structure,but different structure.ex:-no vascular tissue.
