seeing the last term which is 5 we know to find the factor of it so it can be 1,-1,5,-5.so putting x=-1 in equation the whole equation become zero so let x+1=0,then divide it with the expression given
x+1/x3-3x2-9x-5
by dividing we get remainder zero and quotient=x2-4x-5
then also factorise the quotient=x2-5x+x-5=x+1and x-5
