Solution :-

Let us Assume that height of three plants a,b and c is 2x cm , 3x cm and 5x cm respectively .

Now, we have given that mean height of 3 plants is 30cm.

we know that mean is Equal to the Average of given numbers .

So,

Mean Height = (Total height of plants) / No. of plants

→ 30 = (2x + 3x + 5x) / 3

→ 10x = 30 * 3

→ 10x = 90

→ x = (90/10)

x = 9

Therefore,

Height of plant B = 3x = 3*9 = 27 cm (Ans.)

Hence, Height of plant B is 27cm.
