i) Acids are sour in taste while bases are bitter in taste

Acids contain H+ ions and bases have OH- ions

Acids have pH from 0 to 6 and bases have pH 8 to 14

ii) Diaphragm moves down during inhalation and deflates during exhalation

iii) Arteries carry oxygenated blood except pulmonary artery and veins carry deoxygenated blood except pulmonary vein

Arteries have thick walls while veins have valves.

Arteries carry blood from heart to other organs while veins carry blood from different organs to the heart.
