Higher the critical temperature faster is liquefaction.

The process of liquefaction is the one where the substance that is in gaseous states are converted to the liquid state.

When the pressure is increased on a gas then the molecules will slowly start to compress and the temperature will also eventual reduce removing enough energy for letting the gas convert into liquid.
