Hydration energy/enthalpy is inversely proportional to the size of the cation and directly proportional to the charge on the cation.

In this case since charge is the same ,it will depend only on the size of the cation hence,

MgCl2 > CaCl2 > SrCl2 > BaCl2

Atomic size increases down a group.
