The tribes were, under the repulsive caste system, oppressed and isolated from mainstream India from time memorable. Even during the time of British supremacy, the tribes and their habitats were taken for granted without taking their well-being into consideration.
The tribes have undergone changed that are directly related to the economic fluctuations in the country. From the clearing of forests for industrial purposes to construction purposes, to losing their livelihood to the growing westernisation- the tribal community of the country has come from being forcefully isolated to being forcefully reintroduced into mainstream India, all with correspondence to the economic impact.
