When I speak about neighbouring countries I am excluding Pakistan, Bangladesh, sri Lanka, Maldives, Bhutan as they are too culturally similar to india.

I am focusing on Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia on the south east Asian side and Yemen, uae and Kenya on the middle east and Africa side.

A) focus on family
B) focus on education to rise up in life
C) increasingly looking at improving your financial standing than spiritual abilities.
D) despite that growing attachment to ones culture and history.
E) increased usage of English
F) food is a eclectic medley of similar ingredients and flavours (even though indian food is not majorly meat oriented)
G) relooking at democracy and facing stresses as govts are unable to deliver majority expectation.
H) increasingly comfortable with an Asian view of world affairs a break from the Us / euro mild.
