developed. Find the cost of turfing the remaining portion at the rate of Rs 28.50 per sq. metre.

Area of rectangular plot = 70×40 = 2800m sq.

Area of circular garden = πr sq. = 22/7×17.5×17.5=962.5m sq.

Area left = 2800- 962.5 = 1837.5 m sq.

Rs 28.50 per m.

1837.5×28.50 = Rs 52,368.75
