Jack went to market on his bicycle.He parked his bicycle outside a book shop.After purchasing a book, when he came out, His bicycle was not found there.Then he saw a man riding the bicycle past him. Jack was furious. His mother was alone at home and he wanted to get back home fast. He ran behind the bicycle thief crying, ' Give me my bicycle!! Thief!!' The man turned around once and sped on. Jack, a good sprinter followed him.
Miles passed, the bicycle thief didn't seem to stop, Jack was getting tired after running so long. At last, he saw that the man was decreasing the speed and was stopping at the front of a house. A lot of people thronged in front of the house. The man jumped out of the cycle and entered the house by pushing away the spectators. Jack stopped running and was walking as fast as he could. As he was walking, he saw a passerby and asked what was happening. The passerby replied,' There is an old lady in that house who is quite ill. That man, who is her son has been away for a long time. While he was returning home, he heard that his mother was in hunger. So, he bought food from a shop and came here as fast as he could.'
Jack was shocked. After sometime, the man came out and said to Jack,' Sorry for stealing your cycle but I wanted to see my mother. If you want I can drop you home.' Jack nodded yes and the bicycle man and Jack went to Jack's home on the stolen bicycle.
