Hi..
➡️Convex lenses are thicker at the middle. Rays of light that pass through the lens are brought closer together (they converge). A convex lens is a converging lens.
➡️Concave lenses are thinner at the middle. Rays of light that pass through the lens are spread out (they diverge). A concave lens is a diverging lens..
➡️Both Myopia (short-sightedness) and Hypermetropia (long-sightedness) are common eye conditions that are occur when light does not focus on the retina of the eye. Both conditions are easily corrected using prescription glasses or contact lenses or in mild cases by laser eye surgery..
Hope this helps u!!

hii here is your ans
focusing disorder of lens hyperopia occurs when the light is focused behind the retina and causes objects that are nearby to appear blurr this condition called as far sightedness it is corrected by placing convex lens.
