because in ancient times they don't have shops but now there were million or trillions of shop are here so of we want we can buy it like barter system and we can do it if we can and we have also seen in some sale in mall that give old and take new so this is possible and most probably we do barter system but now in modern era we called it "buying " so it is most probably similar then barter system becoz we gave money and we get in ruturn what we want
