Area of triange ABC = b/4√4a²-b²

Where a=equal side and b = second one

∴8/4√4x100-64

=2√336

=8√21 cm²

In triangle BPC

Bc is hypotenuse

so,

⇒n²+1 = 8

⇒n² = 7

∴ n = √7

Other sides are 2n , n²-1

so,

2n = 2x√7=2√7cm

and n²-1 = (√7)²-1=6 cm

∴Area of Triangle BPC = 1/2 x base x height

=1/2 x 2√7 x 6

=6√7 cm²

so, Area of shaded portion = 8√21 - 6 √7 cm²

=2√7(4√3-3) cm²
