area of rectangle=l*b
2*12=24+24 as their are two same rectangles
5+5)-12=2
2*5=10
here the area is 10m²
the area of whole figure is 34m²
Perimeter of rectangle =2(l+b)
two same rectangles breadth =2
leng th =12 so perimeter is 2(12+2)=28+28 for two rectangles=56
2(5+2)=14
overall perimeter is 70 m
