Jharkhand is 28th state of India it was formed on 15 Nov. 2000; it is divided into 24 districts. Ranchi is the capital of Jharkhand and the chief minister of Jharkhand is Mr. Raghuvar Das .Jharkhand is rich in iron ore, mica, coal, uranium etc. Jharkhand  means Land of Forest. Jharkhand accounts for 40% of the mineral resources of India. The literacy rate in Jharkhand is 67.63%(2011).
