Let there is x rows.

Given, number of rows = number of chairs in 1 row.

Chairs in 1 row = x.

Total chairs = x × x = x^2.

A/Q,

x^2 = 2304

x = √2,304

x = 48.

So, the required answer is 48.

2.

Given,

No. of rows = No. of rose plants in 1 row.

Let, no. of rows = a.

No. of rows × No. of rose plants in 1 row =
Total no. of rose plants.

a × a = 1089

a^2 = 1089

a = √1089

a = 33.

The number of rows is 33.

15.

Given,

An army officer arranges 4770 solider in a square then 9 soldiers are left.

Soldiers in square = 4770 - 9 = 4661

No. of rows = No. of soldiers in 1 row = a.

Now,

a × a = 4661

a ^2 = 4661

a = √4661

a = 69.

No. of soldiers in 1 row = 69.

Hope it helps !!
