People doing menial jobs are often considered as inferior or belonging to lower status. This mentality is completely wrong. Menial works are better than being unemployed and therefore a liability to the family, the community and the nation. People need to appreciate the dignity of labour. Then there are many youth who are educationally qualified and though finding jobs are hard they refused to do menial works. They think it's below their qualifications and are ashamed to do menial jobs. The rate of unemployment won't be so high if we stop looking down on menial jobs. We shouldn't be ashamed of doing menial jobs because we are doing an honest work and not stealing or cheating or committing other crimes to earn our daily bread.
