Stomata are the tiny openings present on the epidermis of leaves and it is mostly found in the leaf's lower surface .

Functions :-

  1. These pores help in exchange of gases during respiration and photosynthesis .
  2. It helps to expel the excess water out from the leaves in the form of water vapour.
