Holi is celebrated in India to increase the love and friendship among all by throwing colours on them or by playing with colours.....
Holi is based on a legend about King Hiranyakashipu. ... Hiranyakashyap wanted to kill his son, so he called his sister, Holika.
So, for this reason holi is celebrated in India.
