Answer:

The Vice President of India (Hindi: Bhārat kē Uparāṣṭrapati), officially the Vice President of the Republic of India, is the second-highest constitutional office in India after the President.[2] Article 63 of Indian Constitution states that "There shall be a Vice President of India." The Vice President acts as President in the absence of the president due to death, resignation, impeachment, or other situations.

The President of India officially the President of the Republic of India, is the ceremonial head of state of India and the commander-in-chief of the Indian Armed Forces. Ram Nath Kovind is the 14th and current president.
