Why cp is always greater then cv ???

cp is greater than cv because heat capacity at constant pressure is greater than heat capacity at constant volume.when heat is supplied at constant pressure,substance expands and it will be lesson wen heat is supplied to a substance with constant volume.

a small logic that 's it
Cp - CV = R
where R is a constant n it's value is positive from the above equation fr R to be positive Cp must be greater than Cv...........
