Answer:

Explanation: "Cows on the beach" is a fantastic poem written by Matthew Sweeney. The poet tells that two cows were tired of living in the farm. So, one day both escaped and by chance found the beach. They enjoyed there the whole day, they moved here and there, dipped themselves in the water, swallowed some tasteless pebbles and then after getting tired they decided to take a break and rest for an hour. They thought that they'd never leave this place and imagined that they lived so near to this beach but never knew about it. While they were sleeping, their owner who was a farmer found them. As the waves of the sea were rising the cows were sinking into the water. At this time, the farmer increased the speed of his jeep's engine in order to wake up the cows. He therefore saved their lives and took the cows back to beach, shouting at them and slapping them with seaweed.
