If my mother or those involved in doing the work at home went on a strike for a day, I have to all house hold chores i.e. to cook food, clean the surroundings as well as house. This will be a very bad situation.

It is the mother who raises in the morning to get the entire family going for the day.

The mother prepares food for the family and sends the children to school.

All the activities of the house from washing and cleaning and also child rearing is what a mother does.

Some mothers wven contribute to the family income by working outside of home.

She tends to all the sick at home and ensures good health and recovery.

She gives the family emotional and moral support in times of need. She is the biggest admirer and the biggest critic at the same time.
