Position vector is the vector which represents the position of a point in a space with respect to the origin.

A displacement is a vector whose length is the shortest distance from the initial to the final position of a point.

POSITION VECTOR = The vector which denotes the position of a particular object with respect to the origin of a coordinate system.

DISPLACEMENT VECTOR = It is that vector which tells how much and in which direction an object has changed its position in a given time interval.
