The sum of three numbers is 46. The Second number is one-third of the first number and the third number is 25 more than the first number. Find the numbers.

then second number will be 1/3x
and third number will be x+25
According to the question.we have
x+1/3x+x+25=46
4x/3+x+25=46
4x+3x/3+25=46
7x+75/3=46
x=63/7
x=9
thus first number is 9
second number is 1/3×9=3
third number is x+25=9+25=34

34+9+3=46
