Actors are better role models than athletes 

Actors show us hilarity and to see the bright side of things while many athletes are woman beaters, drug users, and a handful are even convicted murderers. While not all actors are angels, I believe that more good has came from acting world than the sports world when it comes to role models.

Actors are better 

Actors are better because they show us how nice and good the world is and to look up not down while some athletes go to jail for example if a baseball player never it a home run in his whole life and still gets paid for going no work isn't fair to the actors and good athletes that do there work and will get paid less.

Not Necessarily, No 

Anybody in the public spotlight can be considered a role model, and no one group is really better as a whole than any other. There are good role models and bad role models in just about every demographic. To be honest, the "best" role models would likely be the ones that don't let their fame give them an ego.

They just are 
Anybody in the public spotlight can be considered a role model, and no one group is really better as a whole than any other.
