DIRECTIONS:
1. To perform this activity you need two shallow dishes, a potato, knife, water and salt.
2. Fill both the dishes with some water
3. Add two tablespoons of sait to only one dish, while leaving the other without salt.
4. Label which dish is having no salt and which has salt added to it.
5..... Slice the potato lengthwise, so that you end up with several pieces that are flat on both sides.
6. Place a few pieces of potato in the plain water, and an equal number of pieces in the salty water.
7. Wait for 20 minutes, then make you observation...

hey mate here's your answer
the observation made in 1) i.ein salty water is that the potato slices will leave out water or you can say starch
and in 2) the potato will not leave out starch
