Answer:The India has had a stormy past.The history of India is that of invasions,wars rise and fall of kingdoms.People of different cultures and religions came to India over land and sea and all have found a welcoming home.This was possible because of the universal and open vision of our scriptures.While other civilizations were unable to absorb outside cultures,India absorbed them all and drew strength from them.While religious wars were taking place in Europe,the followers of various religions were living peacefully in India.Our nation is the birthplace of four major religions-Hinduism,Jainism,Buddhism and Sikhism.Today,people of all faiths live in the spiritual garden of India.
