Hey man. Nice question. I'll answer each one with a paragraph.
The universe is a big place. Really big. I don't think its possible that Earth is the only planet with life. There's got to be aliens, and on more than one planet.
When we think of alien technology, we usually think of laser blasters, UFOs, stuff like that.
According to me, some alien races might be more advanced than us, but a lot more would be less developed or even at the same stage of development we are at. UFO sightings have happened, but they aren't very frequent, which suggests to me that only a few alien species have cracked inter-galactic travel. Most of them must be like us, struggling to get to the next planet.
The word Alien itself reminds me of big, googly eyed, spindly humanoids. That's what I think. But they can be in any form, even microscopic or like us.
No, I don't know anyone who has seen an alien.
I never thought about what aliens could be eating, but they're most likely to be eating life forms, not some sort of energy capsules.
Although I'm fascinated by aliens, I'd rather not meet them. I'm not a big fan of meeting humans themselves, aliens are a whole other league.
Thanks for the awesome question!
