hello friend!

thermo alone means correlating to heat.

A vacuum flask or thermo-flask does not support heat transfer by any of the ways that heat can travel.
The silver coating on the inner part of the bottle stops heat transfer by radiation, and the 
vacuum within its dual wall inhibits heat moving by convection.
