perpendicular axis theorem is used to find the moment of inertia of the body that is parallel to the axis passing through the centre of the body ....the perpendicular axis theorem is given by
Iz = Iy + Ix
this is used find the moment of inertia of the axis that are perpendicular to each other....

perpendicular axis means in short - IZ=IY+IX
parallel axis theorem means - I=Io+Md^2
parallel axis theorem means - I=Io+Md^2
