It is said that 5x+8y is either equal or smaller than 40 and 5x+4y is as well
So let us take 5x+8y=40 and 5x+4y=30
Equating both the equations we get that x=4 and y=5/2
Now we will put the values in F=3x+2y i.e.3×4+2×5/2=17
