A constant force acts for 5 second a body of mass 5 quitals and then ceased to act. during next 5 seconds the body describes 100m . find the magnitude of force.

t = 5sec
m = 5 quitals

Next 5 sec
thts t = 5 sec
distance = 100m

Force = mass * acceleration
velocity = d/t
= 100/5
= 20m/s

Now
acceleration = v - u / t
= 20 - 0 / 5
= 4 m/s ²

F = ma
mass = 5 quintal = 500 kg
therefore 500 * 4
= 2000N
