• The value obtained after measuring a quantity is known as its magnitude.
• Magnitudes are also expressed in terms of units.
• Measurement is a useful method to determine the ratio of a substance that is expressed in terms of area, length, breadth, volume, etc.
• Different forms of measurements units include capacity, weight, time, temperature, etc.
