hey there ! ☺

>> ok , firstly do you know whats an ALLELE ? lemme tell you .
•allele is the alternative form of genes which occupy same position on chromosomes as genes but effect the character in two alternative ways.

•ok , now lets jump to DOMINANT ALLELE : this is the super ruling allele on the chromosome , which expresses itself even if the other allele in the chromosome is recessive. example : allele for normal skin color or tallness of plant , etc .

•what about RECESSIVE ALLELE ? this is the supressed allele on the chromosome , which can express itself only if both the alleles on the chromosomes are recessive . example : allele for albinism ( skin is pigmented) , or dwarfness of plant , etc .

hi,

dominant alleles : it means that these characters of a dominant alleles is shown independently on a organism

recessive alleles : it means that the characteristics features of a individual is hidden.

 mendels experiment :
in this experiment he showed about the dominant and reccesive alleles present in a pea plant.

the experiment is attached below

in this picture the yellow seed is dominant and green is recessive

hope it helps............
