Answer: number= no.

Total no. of shoes = 20+30+28+14+8=100

no. of size 2 shoes: 20

no. of size 3 shoes: 30

no. of size 4 shoes: 28

no. of size 5 shoes: 14

no. of size 6 shoes: 8

∴ percentage of each shoe size available=

percentage of size 2 shoes= 20÷100×100

                                              = 20%

percentage of size 3 shoes= 30÷100×100

                                              =  30%

percentage of size 4 shoes= 28÷100×100

                                               = 28%

percentage of size 5 shoes= 14÷100×100

                                               = 14%

percentage of size 6 shoes= 8÷100×100

                                               = 8%

Step-by-step explanation:

Number of shoes for each size has been given in the question so we add all the numbers that is 20+30+28+14+8 to get 100 that the total number of shoes in the shop.

Now, we know the number of shoes for each size and to get the percentage we have to divide the number by the total number of shoes and then multiply it by 100.

so, percentage of a certain shoe size= No.of shoes of the given size÷total no. of shoes in the shop× 100%

for example if i take size two, the number of size 2 shoes = 20 and the total no. of shoes in the shop = 100

therefore, percentage of size 2 shoes= 20÷100×100% (hundred and hundred gets canceled leaving 20×1% that is equal to 20%

using the same formula we find out the percentage for other sizes.

that's all, i hope this helped you.

have a good day
