it helps to increase the diameter length or the distance between internodes..

there are three type of meristamatic tissue.

a) lateral meristematic:-helps to increase the diameter of a plant.

b) intercalary:-help to increase the distance between internodes of a plant.

c) apical:-used to increase the length of a plant....

chief characteristics of Mathematic tissue are:-
