Answer:There are three types of tenses

1. Past Tense: the verbs which tell us about the past are called Past Tense. Eg. Rita had read that chapter.here the word read is in past tense so the sentence is also in past tense
2. .Present Tense: the verbs which tell us about the present are called Present tense. Eg. Sara is writing her homework. here the verb writing is in present tense so the sentence is in present tense .

Future Tense : the  verb which tells us about the future are called future tense . Eg. Teacher will take the  exam tomorrow .  here will take has two word will and take .here will is the helping verb which when added to the word take which is in present tense makes the sentence in future tense .
