Melting points of three substances A,B and C are 40°c, 150°c and 90°c. Arrange them in the increasing order of inter particle forms of attraction in each of them. Give reason for your answer.

When melting point increases it means that more energy is needed to break the force of attraction.

Thus with increasing melting point the inter molecular force of attraction increases.
