hi buddy!!

Solution:

here,

angle C is a right angle.....( angle inscribing a semicircle)

now,

let angle A be x and angle B be y

accordingly,

y= x-10........ (1)

hence,

sum of measures of all angles in a triangle= 180°

hence,

x+y+ 90= 180......(2)

x+ x-10+90= 180

2x+80=180

2x=180-80

2x=100

x=100/2=50

therefore angle A = 50°

now,

substituting value of A in (1),

y= x-10

y= 50-10

y= 40°

Checking:

x+y+90= 180

50+40+90=180

90+90=180

180°=180°

hope this helps!!

Caroline134: see, you must have known about inscribed angles??
Caroline134: here, angle c is the inscribed angle
Caroline134: inscribed angle is that angle which is half of the measure of the arc
Caroline134: so, angle c is half of the measure of arc AB
Caroline134: arc AB is @semicircular arc
Caroline134: hence it is 180°
Caroline134: so, angle c= 90°
Caroline134: you may have this chapter called circle in geometry which explains this theorem
Caroline134: i have used this theorem here to find angle C
Caroline134: and thereby other angles accordingly
