Vol of cuboidal sump= lbh= 1.57×1.44×0.95 = 2.15 m^3
Vol of cylindrical overhead tank= (pi)(r^2)h = (22/7)(0.6^2)(0.95) = 1.07 m^3

Vol of water left in sump= 2.15-1.07 = 1.08m^3

Hence, ht of the water left in the sump is= 48cm apx.

1m^3= 1000L

Capacity of tank= 1.07×1000 = 1070L

while,

Capacity of sump= 2.15×1000 = 2150L
