volume of spherical shell = 4/3 pie 10.10.10 - 4/3 pie 6.6.6

= 4/3 pie( 1000 - 216)
=( 4/3 pie 784)× 8

solid cylinder volume = pie . 49. h = (4/3 pie 784)×8

= h = 4× 784/3× 49

(i) Given Internal diameter of spherical shell (r) = 6 cm.

Then, internal radius of the spherical shell r = 6/2 = 3 cm.

(ii) Given External diameter of spherical shell(R) = 10 cm.

Then, external radius of the spherical shell, R = 10/2 = 5 cm.

Now,

We know that Volume of Spherical Shell = (4/3) π (R^3 - r^3)

⇒ (4/3) * (22/7) * (5^3 - 3^3)

⇒ (4/3) * (22/7) * (98)

⇒ (4/3) * (22) * 14

⇒ 410.6

Given, Height of cylinder formed = 2 (2/3) = 8/3 cm.

We know that Volume of cylinder = π r^2h

⇒ (22/7) * (r)^2 * (8/3)

⇒ 8.38 r^2.

Now,

Volume of spherical shell = Volume of cylinder

⇒ 410.6 = 8.38 r^2.

⇒ 49 = r^2

⇒ r = 7 cm.

Therefore, the diameter = 7 * 2 = 14cm.

Hope this helps!
