Linear motion is motion along a straight line, and can therefore be described mathematically using only one spatial dimension.
In physics, circular motion is a movement of an object along the circumference of a circle or rotation along a circular path. It can be uniform, with constant angular rate of rotation, or non-uniform with a changing rate of rotation.
HOPE IT HELPS............

Rotational motion or circular motion is a kind of motion in which a body moves in a circular path around a fixed point or rotational axis. Rectilinear motion or straight motion is a kind of motion when a body moves in a lateral or straight line motion......hope i helped u:)

tithi: Plzzzzz mark as best:)
bindassdoll: if u can give some more points i would do so
tithi: Rotational motion can give rise to two other forces- centripetal and centrifugal force.Linear motion can give rise to frictional force.Work done at ant instance of rotational force is zero.Work done at any instance of linear motion is negative and maximum.
tithi: I mean rotational motion
tithi: Its not rotational force.....in the comment i have given above;)
