When you look at a banana, the wavelengths of reflected light determine what color you see. The light waves reflect off the banana's peel and hit the light-sensitive retina at the back of your eye. That's where cones come in. Cones are one type of photoreceptor, the tiny cells in the retina that respond to light. And from retina signals are sent to our brain , after that brain segregates different colour and give us the idea what we are seeing.

Heya mate,Here is ur answer

✔We can see the world colourful because of the cones cells present in retina of our eye.

✔Cones cells are day light cells which are sensitive to colours.

✔They help the humans to view this colourful world.

✔Without them, the world would have been black and white .

✔So, Two things essential to view this colourful world are:

1)Eyes

2)Light

✔Lets thanks God for providing us with the both because many people do not have access to these.☺☺

Warm regards
