Answer :–

  • 4 apples fall in one second.

Given :–

  • 140 apples fall on ground in 35 seconds.

To Find :–

  • How many apples fall in one second ?

Solution :–

According to the question,

→ 140 apples fall in 35 secons.

So,

We have to divide number of apples which is fall in 35 seconds by time.

i.e.

 \red{ \frac{number \: of \: apples \: fall \: in \: 35 \: seconds}{time} }

So, given that,

  • 140 apples falls.
  • Time = 35 seconds.

 \frac{\cancel{140}}{\cancel{35}}

Cut the denominator and the numerator by 3, we obtain

 \frac{\cancel{28}}{\cancel{7}}

Now, cut the denominator and the numerator by 7, we obtain

 \frac{4}{1}

Hence,

4 apples fall in per seconds.
