Himalayas have all different varieties of vegetation like the perennial rivers like Ganga , indus , Brahmaputra carry silt with them. The Himalayan rivers when flowing they deposits gravel, pebble sediments and form the plain region called indo-gqngetic plain. we found bhabar near the foothills of shivaliks .Bhabar is porous in nature.

we can also find when these bhabar reappear in lower areas nd forms a swampy region called terai.

The terai region had thick forests and rich variety of flora and fauna. The regions like fine alluvial plain regions are found towards the south of terai region.

In the Himalayan regions many trees wood are used to make carpentry work.In India in the state Jammu and Kashmir saffron is produced .

We can find different types of animals and birds.
