The Himalayan rivers when flowing they deposits gravel,pebble sediments and form the plain region called indo-gqngetic plain. we found bhabar near the foothills of shivaliks .Bhabar is porous in nature.
we can also find when these bhabar reappear in lower areas nd forms a swampy region called terai.
