Answer:

Loss = 2.73%

Step-by-step explanation:

Total sugar bought = 120 kg

cost of sugar per kg = Rs 22

amount of sugar sold at Rs 13 = 120 * 30% = (120 * 30)/(1 * 100) = 3600/100

= 36 kg

amount of sugar sold at Rs 25 = 120 - 36 = 84 kg

he sold 30%(36 kg) of sugar for = 36 * 13 = Rs 468

he sold 70%(84 kg) of sugar for = 84 * 25 = Rs 2100

total amount he sold the sugar for(selling price) = Rs 468 + Rs 2100 = Rs 2568

total amount he bought  the sugar for (cost price) = 120 kg * Rs 22 = Rs 2640

cost price > selling price = loss

Loss = cost price - selling price = 2640 - 2568 = Rs 72

It is a loss for Himanshu for Rs 72

% of loss = (72/2640)*100 = 2.73%
