Good morning everyone; I am here to debate on ‘Dr. Sadao Hoki was a traitor and not a humanitarian who rose above the narrow confines of regionalism’ and I am going to debate against it.

Well, it is wrong and unethical to say Dr. Sadao was a traitor; we must not forget the fact that he was a doctor who was bound by Hippocratic Oath and was obliged to treat any patient irrespective of their nationality, colour, creed, or religion.

Besides, he had done his duty to the nation by informing General Takima about the POW. The General had promised to help him get rid of the POW, but forgot to send his assassins.

In conclusion it can be said that Dr.Sadao was not a traitor. He did his duty to his profession as well as his nation.
